Privacy Policy - SpendWise: Expense Tracker

SpendWise: Expense Tracker is a personal finance and expense tracking application developed by Wise Apps Studio. This Privacy Policy explains how the app handles user information.

1. Information We Collect

SpendWise: Expense Tracker does not require users to create an account and does not ask for personal information such as name, email address, phone number, or location.

The app allows users to enter financial information manually, such as income, expenses, categories, budgets, notes, and transaction details. This information is stored locally on the user's device.

2. Local Data Storage

All expense, income, budget, and report data entered in the app is stored locally on the user's device. We do not collect, upload, sell, or share this information with any external server.

If the user deletes the app or clears app data from the device settings, the locally stored data may be permanently deleted.

3. How We Use Information

The information entered by the user is used only inside the app to provide features such as:

  • Tracking income and expenses
  • Managing budgets
  • Showing spending reports
  • Generating PDF reports
  • Displaying financial summaries and insights

4. PDF Reports

SpendWise: Expense Tracker allows users to generate PDF reports from their own financial data. These PDF files are created on the user's device. Users may choose to preview, share, or save the PDF using device-supported sharing options.

We do not receive or store any PDF reports generated by the user.

5. Third-Party Services

At the moment, SpendWise: Expense Tracker does not use advertising services, analytics services, cloud storage, login systems, or tracking tools.

The app may use standard device features, such as file sharing or external link opening, only when the user chooses to use those features.

6. Advertising

SpendWise: Expense Tracker does not currently display advertisements.

If advertising is added in a future version, this Privacy Policy will be updated to explain which advertising service is used and what data may be processed by that service.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, rent, or share user financial data with third parties.

8. Data Security

Because the app stores data locally on the user's device, users are responsible for protecting their device with appropriate security measures such as screen lock, password, fingerprint, or face authentication.

We take reasonable steps to design the app in a privacy-friendly way and avoid unnecessary data collection.

9. Children's Privacy

SpendWise: Expense Tracker is not specifically directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. User Control

Users can manage or delete their data by editing or deleting transactions and budgets inside the app, or by uninstalling the app or clearing app data from their device settings.
